Discover the World of Sissi McLaughlin's Art

Florida artist, Sissi McLaughlin started painting in 2015.  Over the years she worked with several mediums to include various paints, resin art, scene settings, and sculpting.  

A self-taught artist, Sissi M. prefers acrylic and oil paints, and "any canvas will do" as she sees potential in many surfaces that benefit from a little splash of color.  For her, painting was an outlet from the day-to-day shift work as a first responder.  Delving into mental health studies to better understand resiliency within the harsh environment of her work, and find resources for fellow first responders, her art became her own therapy.  

In every painting and sculpture, there is a silhouette of a jackalope that has become her signature "easter egg".  Hence, Hidden Jackalope Art.  She shares her art with local charities to raise money at silent auctions and awareness at events for veterans and first responders.
